Celstran® is Celanese’s long fiber reinforced thermoplastic (LFRT) portfolio, combining continuous fiber rovings (e.g. glass, carbon, aramid) with thermoplastic resins. This yields materials with greatly enhanced stiffness, impact strength and reduced creep and warpage vs. short-fiber compounds.
